Clive (Napier). —On the Ist instant the body of a man, name unknown, was found near the mouth of the Ngaruroro River, and at an inquest held on the following day a verdict of “ Found drowned” was returned. Deceas'ed was about sft. 6in. high, about sixty-seven years of age, full features, pug nose, short grey whiskers and moustache, thick black hair turning grey, dressed in a dark-brown-tweed sac-coat, light-tweed trousers, striped-cotton shirt, white flannel, old blucher boots, reddish merino socks, and blue-and-white tie.
