Be William Scott, for breach of First Offenders Probation Act, at Christchurch: This youth, who is identical with Ernest Fake, absconder from Burnham Industrial School, has been arrested by Constable M. Cox, Wellington Police, and sent to the Caversham School.
Kawakawa (Bay of Islands). —Thomas Wood and Ned Dore are charged on warrants 'with false pretences on G. W. S. Patterson, Kaikohe. First, English, twentynine years of age, sft. Tin. Ahigh, dark hair, very dark moustache only, fresh complexion. /(See J Police Gazette, 1892, pages 37 and 07.) Secondnative of the colony, a shoemaker, about thirty-five yo6Js of nfte, about sft. lOin. high, medium build, brown hair dht vc«vxi)ort, bald on top, brown moustache only, prominent /mb®, loud voice, inquisitive, fond of drink and/asufig lov dcKprc/ssions. Offenders obtained from complain;i|muJon tie 10th ultimo, goods to the value of £ll 12s. daJ accouij; of gum they were to have delivered to him on the 13th, bult which they sold to another person two days before. Wood left for Auckland by the s.s. ‘‘Clansman ” on the 12th, and Dore for Wliangarei by coach on the same day.

Chahles Robert Eaton, alias John Heaton, alias “The Yank,” charged on warrant of commitment with keeping a disorderly house at Wellington, and larceny as a bailee of
Hugh Bradley’s blanket and clothing at Wanganui, has been arrested by Constable F. Y. Watty, Palmerston North Police. Property recovered, and the latter charge dismissed.
Helensville. —W. Shutts is charged on warrant with having, between the 30th April last and 9th ultimo, obtained goods to the value of £1 16s. 7d. from Charles Gardener, storekeeper, Glorit, by fraudulent representations. tion : A foreigner, about thirty-five years of age, about sft. 7in. high, stout build, dark complexion, blind in one eye, (believed to be the right). He obtained the goods on agreeing to sell to complainant all the gum he could dig, but cleared out, taking some of it with him.
Helensville. —Bobert Stephenson, whose proper name is said to he McDonald, is charged on warrant with having, between the 9th April last and 9th ultimo, obtained goods the value of £7 3s. lid. from Charles Gardener, storekeeper, Glorit, by fraudulent representations. Offender is supposed Irish, about thirty-five years of age, about sft. lOin. high,* slight build, fair complexion, light moustache only, tattooed on both forearms. He obtained goods to the above amount on agreeing to sell to complainant all the gum he could dig, hut cleared out, taking it with him. His sisters are said to be living at Ponsonby, Auckland.
Waipawa. —Elizabeth Sneller is charged on warrant of commitment to Napier Gaol for three months’ labour for having no visible lawful means of support. (For description^

Offender was sumiu/i«D to appear on the 18th ultimo, but left on the previous d eJfc for Wellington, from whence, it is said, she intended to pro-v ceed to Christchurch and join a man named Dyer, wnos£ name she will probably go by. The convicting Justices desire that the warrant may remain unexecuted unless offender returns to Waipawa.
Wellington. —Harry Campbell is charged on warrant with having made use of obscene language at the Skating Rink, on the 9th ultimo. Description : Colonial, a cabman, about thirty-five years of age, sft. lOin. or sft. llin. high, stout build, fresh complexion, brown hair and eyes. Supposed to have left for Sydney on the 23rd ultimo.
Wellington. —Arthur Winton Brown is charged on warrant that he did, on or about the sth February, 1892, and within four months before the presentation of a bankruptcy petition against him, quit the colony, and take with him over £2O, the property of his creditors ; being a breach of section 164 of “ The Bankruptcy Act, 1883.” Description : A native of one. of the colonies, forty-two years of age, sft. Sin. or 9in. high, stout build, liorid complexion, full features, reddish hair whiskers and beard, the latter closely trimmed ; formerly a grocer, but of late years a commission agent, auctioneer, &c. He left Auckland about the above date for Sydney, where he stayed for a few days at Phahlert’s Hotel, and then left for Melbourne with the expressed intention of
proceeding to America, but it is considered probable that he has gone to Japan. His liabilities are considerable. (92/838.)
Hobart. —Thomas Regan is charged on warrant with having, on or about the 29tli December, at Hobart, conspired with John Regan, and obtained by false pretences from one Edward Stacey £349 with intent to defraud. Offender is thirty-five years of age, sfb. lOin. high, dark complexion hair and moustache only, broken nose, stout build, broad shoulders, erect; a dealer. May be accompanied by his wife, who is fair, medium height, rather slender. Arrest desirable. (92/849.)
