Missing Friends.
Information is requested concerning Yeep Hie, a Chinaman, who left Alexandra South on the 14th ultimo for Doctor’s Point, where he has two cousins gold-mining. Description: Thirty-nine years of age, sft. high, medium build, dark hair, sallow complexion, no hair on face; wore light-grey-tweed coat and vest, moleskin trousers, and soft black-felt hat.
Inquiry is requested for William Neville, or Nelson, a native of London, but arrived in the colony when a child, a labourer, twenty-seven years of age, sft. lOin. high, medium build, dark hair and complexion. Was employed at Fulton’s Flaxmill, Mahakipawa, about twelve months ago. Is inquired for by his mother, Mrs. Nelson, Parkville, Eketahuna, Wellington. „ Information is requested concerning Thomas Cunningham, who left England about twenty or twenty-six years ago, and is said to be piloting between Sydney and Auckland. No further particulars given. Inquiry is made by his brother James, Prior Street, Church Street, Drypool, Hull, who has forwarded a letter for him through the New South Wales Police. No trace of him can be found in Sydney. (91/627.)
