Offences Not Otherwise Described.
On the 28th or 29th ultimo, at Bald Hill Flat, Alexandra South, a horse belonging to George Wilkinson was maliciously injured by docking its tail. Suspicion attached to John Butler, James Hesson, and Pat and Thomas Rahill, labourers, residing in the locality.
(See Police Gazette , 1890, pages 149, 159, and 167.) Robert McPherson, charged with wilfully damaging a
window at the Cambridge Hotel, Wellington, and making use of obscene language, has been arrested b} r Detective M. Grace, Napier Police, and remanded to Wellington.
Michael Ryan is charged, on warrant issued by the Auckland Bench, with having, on the 27th ultimo, made use of obscene language in a public place. (For description, see Gazette , 1890, page 205.) When last seen was clean-shaved, and dressed in an old grey coat, dark vest and trousers. His arrest is also required for failing to report himself while on probation.
