Extract from Victoria Police Gazette.

(Prom Gazette, 1890, page 186.) Arthur Cottrell is charged on warrant with embezzling £l6 10s. from his employer, Henry Boyce, butcher, Buln Buln, on the 10th August, 1888. Description: English, butcher, thirty-two years of age, sft. 7in. high, fair complexion and hair, darkish-brown moustache, otherwise cleanshaved, blue eyes, stout build, round shoulders. Has been in the army, and served in the Royal Artillery in Zululand. (See Police Gazette, 1888, page 254, O. 6240.) He was arrested on the charge quoted, and afterwards discharged. Fresh proceedings have been instituted, and a fresh warrant has been issued for the offender, who may now be in Melbourne, Sydney, or New Zealand.—O. 5007, 11th June, 1890.
