Information is requested respecting Jolm Taylor, a native of Canterbury, a butcher and labourer, twenty-three years of age, sft. ( Jin. high, stout build, fresh complexion, round full face, dark-brown hair, no hair on face. He was at Timaru in November last, and then spoke of leaving the colony. He is inquired for with a view of compelling him to contribute towards the support of his illegitimate child.

Information is requested respecting William J. H. Ryder, a native of England, a miner, forty-five yeai-s of age, 6ft. high, stout build, fair complexion, blue eyes, fair hair, clean-shaved except moustache. He left North-east Valley, Dunedin, on the 22nd November last, and may now he engaged mining, or employed as a navvy on railway-works. He is inquired for at the instance of the Education Department, with a view of compelling him to contribute towards the support of his children.

Information is requested respecting Richard William Wyth, eldest son of Richard William and Sophia Woodman Wyth. He has two brothers named John and James. John is serving in the Royal Marine Artillery, and James in the Royal Marine Light Infantry. He was seen in Wellington in 1860. He is inquired for at the instance of his brother John, gunner, Royal Marine Artillery Barracks, Eastney, near Portsmouth.

Ho came lo the colony by the ship “ Lancashire Witch ” about 1866, and before leaving England resided at Rotherhithe, London, S.E. He was heard of at the Hutt, near Wellington, in 1879, but he cannot be found there now. He is related by marriage to people named Rowbottom, of Napier. He is inquired for at the instance of W. Whitaker, 19, Oareboro Road, Bolt Street, Deptford, London.

Information is requested respecting Thomas Henry Price, a native of Australia, a labourer and shearer, about thirtythree years of age, sft. s£in. high, stout build, fresh complexion, fair hair, getting bald, sandy board whiskers and moustache. He was heard of at Timaru about nine months ago. He has a sister married to James Kelman, a blacksmith at Alexandra South.- It was said that he was employed at the Marton Hotel, Marton, in November last, but he was not employed there. He is inquired for so that proceedings may be taken to compel him to contribute towards the support of his mother, who is in very poor circumstances.

Information is requested respecting Hugo Sodersten, a Swede, who was heard of at Lyttelton about March, 1889. He is inquired for at the instance of his father.

Information is requested respecting Robert Price, sometimes goes by the name of Richard Price, a labourer, sft. 4in. high, medium build, sandy complexion, sharp features, sandy beard whiskers and moustache. He left Castle Hill Station, West Coast Road, Canterbury, in 1875, to join his brother, Edward Price, a carpenter, in the North Island. He left a box containing clothing at the station, which is now in the possession of the Christchurch Police, who are anxious to hand it over to him.

Information is requested respecting John Cadell, a native of Ireland, a labourer, about fifty-two years of age, sft. 10£in. high, fair complexion, grey eyes, and brown hair, smart appearance. He joined the Armed Constabulary on the 31st October, 1868, and was dismissed from the force at Auckland on the 7th January, 1874. He is inquired for at the instance of his nephew, William J. Cadell, Nenagb, County Tipperary, Ireland.
