Property Found.
Owners are required for a gold watch-key with palebluish stone, a gold ring with cap, whip, &c., on shield; a gold keeper-ring, a gold brooch set with six yellow stones, a silver locket with bird engraved thereon; a charm, Pius IX., &c.; a black pocketbook, and a brass watch-key, found by the Sydney Police in the possession of Joseph Seriac, and believed to have been stolen by him in this colony. A quantity of jewellery, some watches, &c., stolen from dwellings in the Auckland District late in January and early in February last, were also found in his possession. He was sentenced at Sydney on the 27th February last to seven years’ penal servitude for breaking and entering, <fcc.
