Deserters from Merchant Vessels.
John Johns is charged, on warrant issued by the Timaru Bench, with deserting from the ship “ Opawa,” at Timaru, on tho 23rd ultimo. Description : A native of Wales, thirty years of age, sft. lOin. high, medium build, fair complexion, fair hair, clean-shaved except fair moustache ; dressed in blue-cloth suit and dark soft felt hat; holds his head down when walking. He may seek employment at a threshingmill.
