Deserters from Merchant Vessels.

Jacob Jacobsen is charged with deserting from the barque “ Wave Queen,” at Lyttelton, on the night of the 23rd ultimo. Description: A Russian Finn, an able seaman, thirty years of age, 5 feet 9 inches high, medium build, cleanshaved except small moustache ; wore dark clothes and soft black-felt hat. He is supposed to have gone to Christchurch. A reward of £2 is offered for his arrest.
