Horse- and Cattle-Stealing.

Stolen on the 17th or 18th ultimo, from a paddock at North-East Valley, Dunedin, a strawberry heifer, dark colour about neck, ten months old, between a Devon and Ayrshire breed, horns beginning to grow ; the property of John Campbell; value £3. Identifiable.

Stolen during the night of the 21st ultimo, from a paddock at Grange Farm, near Ashburton, a dark-bay mare, heavy-draught breed, nuggetty build, between 14 and 15 hands high, aged, black points, star on forehead, a white spot on back, one of hind legs white (supposed the near one), unbranded, very quiet, unshod except a half shoe on one of fore hoofs ; the property of William Lockhart; value £lB. Identifiable.
