Incendiarism.
On the 25th ultimo, at Makarewa Bush, near Invercargill, an unoccupied five-roomed house, a two-stall stable, a small bam, and a cow-shed, the property of James Rhind, were destroyed by fire, which it is supposed was maliciously caused. The buildings were insured in the National Office for £l5O, which is considered to be in excess of what they were worth.
