Escaped Prisoner.
Charles Gransvvell escaped from the custody of Constable William P. Patton, at Auckland, on the 31st ultimo. Description : French, about twenty-eight or thirty years of age, 5 feet 4 inches high, atout build, very dark complexion, dark hair and moustache, beard of about a week’s growth; wore black monkey-jacket, blue sailors’ pants, and soft black-felt hat; speaks English He was in custody on a charge of larceny.
