Stolen between the 27t.h May last and the 11th ultimo from a box on board the steamer “ Menmuir,” between Hong Kong and Foot, how, three pairs of silver bi’acelets, Englishpat! ern ; one hundred gilt-silver trinkets (pattern —fishes, Chinese shoes, &c.), forty-one plain silver rings, seventeen silver scarf rings, chased ; two silver cardcases, Chinese-pattern ; two silver gilt hair-pins, a silver half-moon head-dress with pearl beads in centre, two pairs of small gold earrings, four pairs of silver-gilt Chinese earrings, a pair of gold earrings set with greenstone, a pair of gold-mounted ivory earrings, a large gold cross and chain, a gold ring with four small diamonds in centre, a small gold brooch, a small silver brooch with Prince of Wales’ Feather engraved thereon, a gold brooch and earrings with red stones, a brooch and pair of earrings, gold set in inother-of pearl; two small gold flowers with green stone in
centre, and four English sovereigns; the property of Mrs. Le Keong; value £SO. Gold cross identifiable; identification of the other property doubtful.
Stolen on the 9th or 10th instant, from the yard of Mary McTaggart, corner of Madras and Lyttelton Streets, Christchurch, a white shirt, open at back, two small holes on one of shoulders; a pair of merino drawers, a black thread drawn through waistband ; a pair of grey-worsted socks, a pair of printed moleskin trousers, large size ; and a pair of grey-tweed trousers, small size ; value £1 10s. 6d. Identifiable, except moleskin trousers. A pair of old grey trousers with a patch on the seat were left in the yard, supposed by the offender.
Stolen on the 14th instant, from the premises of William B. Williams, Pitt Street, Dunedin, a saucepan, No. 8 size, round bottom to fit into a range; value 7s. 6d. Identifiable.
Stolen on the 10th or 11th instant, from the clothes-line of John Horne, at Kensington, near Dunedin, two calico nightdresses, a chemise, a white petticoat, a white bed-quilt, old fashion ; a turkish towel, and a white woollen crossover with pink fringe, all marked “ E. M. Humphry Horne;” value £2 10s. Identifiable, except quilt, towel, and crossover.
Stolen on the 7th or Bth instant, from the front door of the residence of Hugh S. H. Lyall, Pipitea Street, Wellington, a common east-iron door-scraper, oval stand; value 7s. 6d.

Stolen on the 3rd instant, from on board the steamer “ Wellington,” at Auckland, a nearly-new blanket, large size, blue stripes at ends ; the property of Reginald Winter; value £1 10s. Identifiable.
Stolen on the 30th ultimo or Ist instant, from a garden at South Belt, Sydenham, an iron spade, with iron straps well up on handle, very little worn; tho property of John Mathews; value 6s. Identifiable.
Stolen on the 4th or sbh instant, from the gold-mining claim of Ralph Dawson, at German Gully, near Stafford, about 6 ounces of fine gold ; value £22 10s.
Stolen during the night of the 3rd instant, from the fowlhouse of Fulbert Archer, at Timaru, a turkey hen and ten or twelve hens, chiefly Spanish breed, two or three speckled; value £l. Identifiable.
Stolen on the 7th or Bth ultimo, from the gold-mining claim of Richard Marsh, at Round Hill, near Orepuki, a quantity of black sand supposed to contain fine gold; value £3 or £4.
Stolen about the 22nd ultimo, from Clyde Street, Invercargill, a cross-cut saw, and a spade branded T.G. near iron; the property of Robert Wilson Harvey; value 15s. Spade identifiable.
Stolen on the sth or 6th instant, from the Christchurch Exhibition, two double-barrel breech-loading fowling-pieces, “ W. Richards ” stamped on barrels, numbered 6844 and 7030 under trigger-guard; the property of Victor Larnelle; value £3l. Identifiable.
Stolen on the sth instant, from the premises of Andrew Craig, at Caversham, a bantam rooster and four bantam hens, black-red breed ; value£l 10s. Rooster and one of hens identifiable. Three boys, names unknown, sold the rooster on the night of tho sth instant. They went towards Dunedin with the hens in their possession.
Stolen during the night of the 13th instant, from the clothes-line of William Hitchens, at Makaraka, Poverty Bay, a pair of light-tweed trousers, check pattern, small size, strapped with dark tweed, hip-pockets; value £l. Identifiable.
Stolen during the night of the 9th instant, from the Royal Oak Hotel, Matawhero, Poverty Bay, a saddle, with hogskin seat, new green-hide flaps ; a snaffle bridle, with blue foreheadband ; and a mackintosh coat, stained with oil on front; the property of Hugh Campbell; value £6 10s. Identifiable.
Stolen on the 3rd or 4th instant, from Queen Street Wharf, Auckland, a plain saddle and bridle, saddle and stirrup-leathers branded “ W. S. Jones ;” and a leather saddle-cover; the property of Edwiu James Fairburn ; value £4 10s. Identifiable.
Stolen on the morning of the 20th ultimo, from the premises of Charles Napper, Haast Street, Avonville, Christchurch, a lump of Newcastle coal.
Stolen on the 4th instant, from Seven Street, Invercargill, a red-and-white American flag, 3 feet 6 inches by 6 feet, forty white stars on one of corners ; the property of William H. Matheson; value £l. Identifiable.
Stolen on the 16th or 17th instant, from the front door of the residence of John Neilson, Currie Street, Pert Chalmers, a plain common door-scraper, 14 inches by 10 inches, two small holes in bottom ; value 10s. Identifiable.
Stolen between the 10th and 12th instant, from the pigeonhouse of John Muir, Customhouse Street West, Auckland, four blue owl-pigeons, four cream tumbler-pigeons, three pouter-pigeons, two blue-beard pigeons, twenty Belgian pigeons, and a jacobin-pigeon ; value £B. Identifiable.
Stolen on the 14th instant, from the verandah of the house of Pierce Lannigan, Hobson Street, Auckland, a brass-w'ire cage with dark-coloured wood, glass feeding-cups, and a mule canary; value £7. Identifiable.
