On the 10th or 11th ultimo, at Pine Hill, near Dunedin, a cow, the property of Richard Meredith, was maliciously shot dead.

Maliciously cutting the rope 3 of a punt at Inangahua Landing, the property of Frederick A. G. Archer: Silas Gibson has been arrested by Constable Arthur J. Bamford, Westland Police, for this offence, and sentenced to three years’ penal servitude.
