Deserters from Merchant Vessels.
Petek Francis and William Goodes are charged with deserting from the ship “ Rakaia,” at Auckland, during the night of the 28th ultimo. Description : Francis is English, thirty years of age, 5 feet 8 or 9 inches high, stout build, dark hair, beard, whiskers, and moustache. Goodes is English, twenty-eight years of age, 5 feet 10 inches high, stout build, dark hair and moustache, no beard.
