(See Police Gazette, 1880, page 212.) The draught bay horse, the property of Thomas George, reported stolen from Makarewa, has been recovered.
(See Police Gazette, 1881, page 12.) Tns bay horse, the property of John King, and the chestnut mare, the property of George Spencer, reported stolen from Ardgour Station, Lake District, have been recovered.
Supposed stolen on the 10th ultimo, from Featherston, a chestnut saddle mare, aged, 14) hands high, branded 6 on one of shoulders, blaze down face, hind legs white; the property of Frederick Faber; value £lO. Identifiable.
Supposed stolen during the night of the 9th xdtimo, from a paddock at Featherston, a black saddle gelding, aged, 15 hands high, branded JR, conjoined, on near shoulder, a small white spot on upper lip ; the property of the Government (Telegraph Department) ; value £lO. Identifiable.
(See Police Gazette, 1880, page 219.) TnE bay mare, the property of William Mooreliouse, supposed stolen from Broughton, lias been found at Mornington, iu the possession of Arthur Hill, whom Mr. Moorehouse declines to prosecute.
Stolen during the night of the 28tli ultimo, from Geraldine, a black mare, hack breed, three years old, about 15| hands high, one of hind fetlocks white, unbranded, and an old snaffle bridle, reins have been chewed, ends tied together with string, saddle-strap for throat-lash; the property of Robert Hammond; value £25. Identifiable.
