Extract from Victoria Police Gazette.

(From Gazette, 1880, page 11 ; see New Zealand Police Gazette, 1880, page 13.) Alexander Feddes Greig, for embezzlement on James Patterson and Co., is now described as having split the nail of the first finger of one hand (believed right), which upon healing left, a ridge. He may make overland to some seaport and obtain employment onboard ship, as he was originally a seaman. Photographs can be seen at Melbourne, Wodonga, Echuca, Sandhurst, Benalla, Sale, Geelong, Ballarat, Slawell, and Hamilton. —O. 7616.13 th January, 1880.
