Half the area on the left with the vigorous clover growth received sulphur at the rate of 281 b. per acre (foreground) and the other half superphosphate at the rate of 2cwt. per acre. The area on the right has had no treatment. There has been no response to I cwt. of double superphosphate per acre in this trial.
