HEADING PHOTOGRAPH: On this farm improvement work to hill country has been carried out by oversowing and topdressing and also by sowing down new pasture after cultivation with giant discs. By this method the carrying capacity has been raised from 1.7 ewe equivalents per acre to 3.1 ewe equivalents since 1947.
