Left -Equipment for vaccinating birds with pigeon-pox virus: A useful type of scraper for preparing the skin, and the brush, dried virus, and diluting fluid as supplied by the Animal Research Station, Wallaceville. Right-A bird prepared for vaccination with pigeon-pox virus. A few feathers have been removed from the outside of the thigh and the skin scraped or roughened.
