Middle —In the second and subsequent years clover becomes increasingly common and is often harvested in place of or in. conjunction with the perennial ryegrass. Lower good 11-year-old sward harvested for seed occasionally. Under Careful management high-producing, weed-free swards can be maintained if seed crops in consecutive seasons are avoided.
