The first Victory-V-eights’ are rolling off our assembly lines. They’re trucks New Zealand’s number-one transportation need. They’re husky, powerful models full brothers to the Ford VBs which carried our troops to Victory in the sun-scorched desert, the steaming jungles, the snow and the mud of European battle-fields. They come from the Canadian Ford Factory at Windsor, since 1939 the British Empire’s largest single source of mechanised war equipment. Next in line in Ford’s post-war production programme are tractors, 114-inch commercial models and passenger cars in good quantities. Watch for further Ford announcements soon. '■ ' ; ■' .
