ACAENA SANGUISORBAE: PIRI PIRI, BIDI-BID. Colour brown. Occurs infrequently in Danthonia pilosa, crested dogstail, and cocksfoot. A native perennial weed of pastures, especially objectionable because of the burr-like seeds which spoil wool.
