Interim Sheep Returns

THE collection of sheep returns was resumed this year following a break of two years. The interim figures supplied by the Government Statistician disclose that our sheep population has increased by considerably over one million, the principal increase being in the North Island: Details in respect of distribution are as follows, actual figures for 1941 being shown for comparative purposes: —
