Nomination lsov, acceptance 2sovs. One and a half miles. 4. MANAWATU TROTTING J- CLUB GOLD CUP (Harness) of 350sovs (300sovs in specie and Gold Cup valued at 50sovs, presented by G. Craw, Esq.) ;> second horse to receive 60sovs,' and 'third horse 30 sovs out of stakes. Horses to be handicapped to do 4.52 or better. Nomination 2sovs, acceptance ssovs. Two miles. 5. NORTH ISLAND AMATEUR LADIES’ BRACELET HANDICAP of lOOsovs; first horse to receive 55sovs and bracelet valued at 15sovs, second horse to receive 15sovs and bracelet valued at ssovs, and third horse to receive lOsovs. Horses to be ' ' nominated by ladies, and will be handicapped to do 4min. or better. For horses trained by trainers resident in the North Island and owned by owners resident in the North Island at date of nomination, and to be driven by North Island amateur drivers. PALMERSTON NORTH HANDICAP (Harness) of 150sovs; second horse to receive 30sovs, and third horse 15sovs out of stakes. For unhoppled trotters only. Horses will be handicapped to trot 5.8 or better. Nomination lsov, acceptance 3sovs. < Two miles. < 8. PRESIDENT’S HANDICAP (Harness') of 150sovs; second horse to receive SOsovs, and third horse 15 sovs out of stakes. Horses will be handicapped to do 3.2 or better. Nomination lsov, acceptance 3sovs. One mile and a-quarter. NOMINATIONS for all events, accompanied by fees, close with the Secretary on SATURDAY, MARCH 27, 1920, at 6 p.m. HANDICAPS will be declared on APRIL 2, 1920. ACCEPTANCES for all events close with "the Secretary on SATURDAY, APRIL 10. 1920, at 6 p.m. Fees must accompany Nominations and’Acceptances. RULES AND REGULATIONS. All races to be run under the Rules of the N.Z. Trotting Association. The winner of any race after the declaration of handicaps may be rehandicapped. No entry will be received for any race except on the condition that all disputes, claims and objections arising from the carrying out of this programme shall be decided by the Stewards or whoever they may appoint. Their decision on all points connected wit h the carrying out of this programme shall be final, subject to an appeal to the Association, except on questions of fact. With all nominations the name, colour, sex, age and pedigree, and the last three performances and the horse's best time, and the names and addresses of the owner and trainer must be given. The colours of rider or driver must be sent in at time of nomination,-failing -which a fine of £1 will be enforced. Telegraphed nominations must be confirmed in writing, with all particulars as above by the following mail. No horse will be allowed to start unless all fees are paid. All pretests must be made in writing and be in the hands of the Secretary within ten minutes of the decision of the race, and accompanied by a deposit of ssovs, to be forfeited if the protest is dismissed. Rule 196‘. —Every person applying for admission to any course, and every person entering or endeavouring to enter a horse for any race, and every person having or subsequently acquiring any interest in such horse, shall be deemed to accept all the conditions and restrictions imposed or implied by these Rules, and to be barred from questioning the action of the Conference, Appeal Judges, Association, Club, Racing Club or Body, Committee, Stewards, Officials, Agents, or Servants in respect of any such person or horse, or any person connected therewith otherwise than is provided for in Part XXX. of Trotting Rules.
