NOMINATIONS for all events will close at the Secretary’s Office, Marton, on FRIDAY, DECEMBER 5, 1919, at 9 p.m. WEIGHTS for the First Day’s events will be declared on or about MONDAY, DECEMBER 15, 1919, and for the Second Day’s Events at the office of the Club at 7 p.m. on the EVENING OF THE FIRST DAY. ACCEPTANCES for First Day’s events will close with the Secretary at the Office of the Club, Marton, on FRIDAY, DECEMBER 19, 1919, at 9 p.m., and for the Second Day’s events at the same place at 9 o’clock on the EVENING OF THE FIRST DAY. PENALTIES. The winner of any race or races may be re-handicapped by the handicapper. Re-handicaps will be declared at the Manawatu Racing Club’s Office on the evening of December 29, 1919, and will be published in the morning newspapers on the 30th. ACCOMMODATION. The Club has erected 54 loose-boxes on the racecourse, and the Secretary will book accommodation for horses and attendants on application. RULES. All races to be run under the New Zealand Rules of Racing. All entries to be sealed and addressed to the Secretary, Marton Jockey Club, Marton, and entrance money to be enclosed, with name of horse, age at time of entry, name of owner and trainer, pedigree and colours of rider.
