N.Z. ATHLETIC AND MOTOR CYCLE CHAMPIONSHIPS.

The New Zealand athletic, motor cycle and field sports championships are to be held on the G'isborne Park racecourse on January 1 and 2. under the auspices of the Poverty 7 Bay Athletic and Motor Cycle Club, when £6OO in cash and trophies is to be distributed among the successful compet’tprs'. The principal contests will be the Sheffield Handicap, in which the first prize is £6O, and the Australasian Motor Cycle Handicap, the winner of which will receive £6O. The closing date of nominations has been extended until December 15, by wlrch time all entries must be made with the secretary, Mr. H. H. Lockie, Good’s Buildings, Gisborne.
