TAUMARUNUI JOCKEY CLUB.
Weights for this meeting, which is to take place on December 19, made their appearance on due date, and as the handicaps have been kept well up there should be less trouble than usual in getting horsemen at allotted poundage. In all races but one 7.7 is the minimum. There should be a good all round acceptance, and the meeting, though driven a little nearer to the opening of the A.R.C. summer meeting than could have been desired on account of the elections, should be well patronised.
