PAKURANGA POINT TO POINT STEEPLECHASE MEETING.

The point to point steeplechase meeting of the Pakuranga Hunt -Club is announced to take place at that favourite hunting rendezvous in Auckland known as Grey’s farm, on Saturday, September 6. The first event is timed to start at 2 p.m. sharp. There are five in all over such country as the committee direct, Members’ light and Members’ heavyweights, list, and 15st. respectively, being the first and fourth on the bill of fare. The Farmers’ race and the Ladies’ race, two of the most interesting of events, figure, and the open Point to Point race, over about three miles, and in which horses owned and ridden by members of any duly recognised hunt club can

take part, concludes the programme. There is sure to be a good muster, given suitable weather. The nominations close this Thursday.
