RULES AND REGULATIONS. 1. All entries must be sealed and addressed to the Secretary, P.O. Box 69, Dannevirke, with the name and age at the time of entry, name of owner, pedigree and performances of the horse, and the registered colours of the owner. 2. Entries by telegraph must be confirmed in writing’by the next mail. 3. All colours must be registered, Or a fine of Isov will be imposed for every start. 4. The Committee reserve the right to alter the date or time for the declaration of nominations, weights or acceptances, as they may think fit. 5. When nominating, the name and ad- ■ dress of the trainer must be given, also the name or assumed name of the owner, with his address. HUNTERS’ EVENTS. The meeting will be run under the New Zealand Rules of Racing. Any horse which has been nominated for an open hurdle race or 'steeplechase within the last 12 months prior to date of entry, or is so nominated at date of entry, is ineligible for Hunters’ events. Qualified Hunters are deemed those horses that have been regularly hunted with a recognised pack of hounds, and the Master’s certificate of qualification for the season 1919 must be produced at the scales. By subscription of 6sovs each, unless forfeits are declared and paid as follows, namely: Isov if struck out by Friday, October 1, 1920; 2sovs if struck out by Friday, December 3, 1920. All horses remaining in after this date must pay the total subscription of 6sovs on FRIDAY, JANUARY 21, 1921. In the event of any horse entered in the above race dying before the date the first forfeit becomes due, the entry shall become void and the owner will be freed from liability, provided the death of such horse is notified to the Secretary of the Taranaki Jockey Club not later than the date such first forfeit became due.
