All the armies will be home and dried before Old Bill, Bert and Alf. climb out and look for another ditch. * a v * The New Zealand Divisional Pierrots, who have been asked by the military authorities to present their clever entertainment for the benefit of disabled soldiers’ and dependents’ funds, held a most successful season at the Grand Opera House, Wellington, last week, and are shortly due in Auckland. The Pierrots have appeared at the following theatres and places:—Grosse Coin, Cologne, Vancouver Camp Hall, Ypres Sector, Palais du Glace, Paris, Corps Theatre, Abule, the Big Barn Pah; Victoria Palace, London: Aldwych Theatre. London; Open-air Theatre, Authie Wood: Lyric Theatre, Glasgow; Queen’s Hall, Edinburgh, and Lesseps’ Palace, Panama, and numerous barns and sheds. They have ’had a unique and record-breaking trip.
