Sonnino, who gives promise of great things, has been leased by Mr. Ernest Short to Mr. Lance Wood, the pseudoyn of a Cabinet Minister and M.P., who also owns Risingham. Sonnino has already reached J. Ayers’ stable at Trentham, where he will be trained for the future.

Hymestra, Scornful and Horace have been scratched for all engagements at Rand wick. Wishful has been scratched for the F'rst Hurdle Handicap. The A.J.C. meeting will commence on May 3rd.
