yOTICE OF SPECIAL LICENSING POLL. In pursuance of the Licensing Act, 1908, and its amendments, I, ALBERT ERNEST MOORE, Returning Officer for the Waitemata Licensing District, do hereby give notice that on the 10th day of April, 1919, a Special Licensing Poll will be taken on the following proposals: — (1) That National Prohibition with compensation shall come into force throughout New Zealand. (2) That licenses for the sale of intoxicating liquor shall continue to be granted subject to the provisions of the Licensing Act, 1908. Nominations of persons to appoint scrutineers in accordance with the Licensing Act, 1908, and its amendments, must be lodged with me not later than 5 o’clock in the afternoon of the 3rd day of April, 1919; and I hereby give notice that I shall on the sth day of April, 1919, at the hour of 10 o’clock in the forenoon, at my office at Devonport, publicly consider all nomination papers of persons to appoint scrutineers which have been duly lodged in respect of the Special Licensing Poll for the said licensing district.
