ANNUAL MEETING
The annual meeting of the Rotorua Jockey Club takes place on the Arawa Park Racecourse to-day (Wednesday), when a successful gathering is anticipated. The acceptances for the various events given in the order in which they are to be run are as follows: — WAIMANGU HANDICAP, five furlongs.—Garryowen 9.6, Caballero 8.0, Cambridge 7.13, Shining Light 7.12, Erinagh 7.2. ROTORUA CUP, one mile and a8.13, Royal Irish 8.10, Rockfield 7.10, Meltchikoff 7.10, Winning Shot 7.2, Lady Energy 7.2. TOURIST HANDICAP, six furlongs. —Gaycium 8.0, Independence 7.9, Winning Shot 7.4. MOKOIA HANDICAP, seven furlongs.—Sleepy Jack 8.6, Golden Petal 8.3, Notability 8.2.
