Owners are responsible in the matter of penalties and allowances. All races to be run under the New Zealand Rules of Racing. Any horse winning after publication of weights is liable to be re-handicapped. In no case will tickets be issued to trainers or jockeys except on production of licenses to the Secretary. Owners desiring tickets to be forwarded are requested to notify the Secretary (when accepting), stating what tickets are required. No person who has at any time since the passing of the Gaming and Lotteries Act, Amendment Act 1908, followed the occupation of a bookmaker or bookmaker’s clerk, no disqualified or undesirable person will be admitted to the Te Aroha Racecourse during the race meeting, and if any such person is found on such course he will be removed therefrom and prosecuted for trespass.
