IMPORTANT STOCK SALE.

Considerable interest is centred in the forthcoming Parorangi annual sale of stud and flock Romney Marsh sheep, which is to be held on the Manawatu A. and P. Showgrounds. Palmerston North, on Tuesday, January 21, next. Mr. Ernest Short, the successful stock breeder, has instructed Messrs. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., in conjunction with Messrs. Murray Roberts and Co., Ltd, to sell by public auction, at 10.30 a.m., 700 stud and flock Romneys, comprising 50 stud Romney rams, 150 4-tooth Romney ewes, and 500 2-tooth flock Romney rams. The sheep will be sold in lots to' suit purchasers, and that there will be some spirited bidding for the possession of these highquality breeds is certain, in view of the excellent reputation which Paro-rangi-bred stock has established throughout the Dominion and in other countries.
