“ONE SUMMER’S DAY.”

Considerable interest is being taken in the forthcoming production of the smart comedy “One Summer’s Day,” which will be given by well-known Auckland artists at His Majesty’s Theatre on May 31 and June 1 in aid of the Victoria League Red Cross Fund. Those taking part will be Lady Walker, Mrs. Patrick Cole, Mrs. H. J. Bentley, Mrs. Forsythe, Mrs. A. Kinder, Miss B. Cole, Messrs. A. L. Denniston, Wallace Bruce, J. A. Tole, A. Forbes, J. W. Meredith, and Ser-geant-Major H. J. Bentley. The members under the guidance of Mr. Bentley, have been in active rehearsal for some weeks, and a successful performance is assured. The box plan opens at Wildman and Arey’s on Thursday, May 23.
