Auckland. The match for the first Red Cross medal played this season by the Auckland Ladies’ Golf Club on April 16 was won by Miss M. Cooper, 82—11 — 71. Other cards handed in were: — Miss K. Clarke, 89—14—75; Miss K. Holmes, 86—11—75; Miss E. Culling, 91—15—76; Miss Hanna, 101—24—77. • * * ♦ Maungakiekie. The following were the best cards sent in for the medal handicap match, played on Wednesday, April 17: — Miss P. McGovern, 107 —27 —80; Miss Cooke, 101 —18 —83; Miss B. McGovern, 112—29—83; Miss Neill, 122—36 -—-86; Miss Grove, 112—25 —87. A flag match will be played on Wednesday, April 24, for a prize presented by Mrs. Rodger. Post entries, and players to choose their own partners.
