NOMINATIONS for all races close on FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 22, 1918, at 8.30 p.m. WEIGHTS for the First Day’s Handicaps will be declared about FRIDAY, MARCH 1, and for the Second Day’s Handicaps on the EVENING OF THE FIRST DAY’S RACES, at about 7.30 . p.m. ACCEPTANCES for the First Day close on TUESDAY, MARCH 5, at 8.30 p.m., and for the Second Day, at 9 p.m. ON THE NIGHT OF THE FIRST DAY’S RACES. All the above at the Club’s Office, Featherston. PENALTIES. In all handicap races (except the Wairarapa Cup) the winner of any flat race after the declaration of weights shall carry a penalty of 101 b, and of every additional race a further penalty of 61b extra. Horses handicapped at .8.10 or over to carry half the above penalties, or if the handicapper thinks .. it necessary he may increase the above penalties. Owners are responsible for all penalties and allowances. ACCOMMODATION. Loose-boxes are available bn the course, the charge being £1 each for a term not exceeding 14 days, and which sum must be paid at time of booking same to ensure reservation. Accommodation for Jockeys and Trainers is also available on the course, the charge being £1 ss. each for a period of eight days or a portion thereof, and this sum must be paid at time of booking to ensure reservation.
