AUCKLAND RACING CLUB.

AUTUMN MEETING. The autumn meeting of the Auckland Racing Club is only a little over six weeks away as we write, and we have here to remind owners that the first of the nominations therefore go in on Friday. The races requiring attention on that day are the Brighton Hurdle Race, Easter Handicap,- St. George’s Handicap, and Autumn Steeplechase Handicap, all valuable races, the two flat races being worth lOOOsovs. each, while the hurdle race is worth 350sovs. and the steeplechase 400sovs. Mr. Spence, actingsecretary, will take entries up to 9 p.m. at the club’s office, and there is sure to be a good response from owners.
