In all handicap races (except the Wairarapa Cup) the winner of any flat race after .the declaration of weights _ shall carry a penalty of 101 b, and of every additional race a further penalty of 61b extra. Horses handicapped at 8.10 or over to carry half the above penalties,.-or if the handicapper thinks it necessary he may increase the above penalties. Owners are responsible for all penalties and allowances. ACCOMMODATION. Loose-boxes are available on the course, the charge being £1 each for a term not exceeding 14 days, and which sum must be paid at time of booking same to ensure reservation. Accommodation for Jockeys and Trainers is also available on the course, the charge being £1 ss. each, for a -period of eight days or a portion thereof, and this sum must be paid at time of booking to ensure reservation.
