EMPIRE “OUR -|- DAY” APPEAL FOR THE RED GROSS FUND In response to an Appeal by the British Authorities, through His Excellency the Governor-General, it has been decided to hold a Special “Empire Our Day Appeal” to augment the Funds of tliis Society. The British Authorities inform us that this Appeal is to be made throughout the British Empire during the month of October, and that the British Red Cross Society has an expenditure of £BOOO per day, which is likely to increase rather than diminish.
