TVpOTICE is hereby given that, pursuant to the provisions of Part 111. of the Finance Act, 1917, on and after the Ist day of November, 1917. the AMUSEMENTS TAX provided for in tne Fifth Schedule on the said Act will become payable for admission to all entertainments within the meaning of the said Act at the rates specified in the said Fifth Schedule. “Entertainment” includes any exhibition, performance, amusement, game, or sport to which persons are admitted for payment. “Proprietor” in relation to any enter tainment includes any person respons ible for the management thereof. Proprietors as aforesaid are hereby notified that arrangements should be made without delay with the Commissioner of Stamps or the Deputy Commissioner of Stamps in the nearest Provincial District regarding the manner in which the amusements tax shall be paid as provided for by the said Act.
