NAPIER FABK RACING CLUB. WINTER MEETING. The Napier Park Racing Club will open their winter meeting on June 22 and 23, and as the prospects of many of the leading hurdle horses and ’chasers being on hand to fulfil their engagements are particularly bright, considerable interest is being centred in the approaching fixture. The Napier Steeplechase, to be decided on the opening day, has attracted a number of the best ’chasers in the North Island, and a good field is assured. In the Ahuriri Hurdles a number of high-class performers are to be found, including the Great Northern Hurdle Race victor, Gladful, Bon Reve and Leonta.
