A train will leave Auckland for Helensville at 6 55 p.m. A train will leave Auckland for Mercer at 10.40 p.m. A train will leave Auckland for Rotorua at 10.22 p.m. This train will leave Rotorua on return journey at 8.45 p.m. on Tuesday, January 2. MONDAY, JANUARY 1, 1917. On this date the ordinary timetable will be suspended. The following trains will run: — Auckland to Helensville at 6.52, 8.32 a.m., 11.45 a.m. and 6.45 p.m. Auckland to Ranganui at 11.45 a.m. Auckland to Kaukapakapa at 11.45 a.m. and 6.45 p.m. Helensville to Auckland at 7 a.m., 12 30 p.m., 4 p.m., and 5 p.m. Kaukapakapa to Auckland at 6.30 a.m. and 11.40 a.m. Ranganui to Auckland at 8.5 a.m. Auckland to Mercer 4.25 p.m. Auckland io Frankton 11.40 p.m. and 7.17 a.m. Auckland to Cambridge 9.15 a.m. and 5.20 p.m. Auckland to Hamilton 6.15 p.m. Mercer to Auckland 6.40 a.m. and 8.30 a.m. Hamilton to Auckland 7 a.m. Frankton to Auckland 7.7 a.m., 9.45 a.m. and 2.30 p.m. The usual express trains run to and from Auckland, to and from Rotorua, Thames, Cambridge, Waihi, Taumarunui and Wellington. A special service will be run between Auckland and Onehunga, between Auckland and Papatoetoe, between Auckland and Papakura, and between Auckland and Swanson. RACES AT ELLERSLIE. Trains will run between Auckland and Racecourse on January 1 and 2 at intervals as required. Usual Racecourse fares. Goods and live stock traffic will be suspended on January 1 and 2.
