All races to be run under the Rules of Racing as adopted by the Racing Conference of New Zealand. The Committee reserve the right to alter the date or time for the declaration of nominations, weights or acceptances, as they may think fit. When nominating, the name and address of the trainer must be given; also the name or assumed name of the owner with his address. No horse will be weighed out for any race whose entry fees are unpaid. PENALTIES. Flat Races.—The winner of any flat race after the declaration of weights to carry a penalty of 101 b, and of any additional race a further penalty of 71b. Horses handicapped at 8.10 or over to carry half of the above penalties. The winner of any hurdle race after the declaration of weights to carry a penalty of 101 b in the Hurdle Race, and of* any additional hurdle race a further penalty of 71b, or, if the handicapper deems it fit, he may increase the penalties.
