WELLINGTON RACING CLUB.

The Wellington Racing Club’s spring programme has macle its appearance, and will be welcomed by both Northern and Southern horse owners, and the more especially as the prize money all round is substantial, the races of the least value now being raised to 200sovs. The Wellesley Stakes, for which all two-year-olds remaining in after October 2nd must pay their full subscription, is worth 750sovs. The Wellington Handicap is worth 500sovs., and these races are decided on the opening day. when the Shorts Handicap, of 35050v5., is also to be decided. On the second day the Champion Plate, weight for age at a mile and a-quarter, worth SOOsovs., will be run, also the Spring Handicap, worth 400sovs., the Juvenile Handicap, worth 35050v5., and other races from 200sovs. to 35050v5., the hack and hunters’ steeplechases again being open, one on each day. The date of nominations has been fixed for Friday, September 29th.
