AUGUST MEETING. FIRST DAY. The New Zealand Metropolitan Trotting Club’s August meeting was opened at Addington on Saturday in fine weather. There was a large attendance, and the track was in good order. The totalisator investments reached £26,769. The results were: — INTRODUCTORY HANDICAP (Harness) of 150sovs. 3.39 class.
