No nomination or acceptance will be received on any pretence whatever after the hour named, or without being accompanied by the necessary amount in cash. The attention of owners is particularly called to this Regulation. No jockey shall be weighed out for any race unless the amount of his minimum fee, as for a losing mount in the race, has been previously deposited with the Secretary or Clerk of the Scales, or other official appointed by the Stewards for that purpose. If he wins, the balance of his fee shall be deducted from the stakes otherwise pavable to the owner, ami shall be paid to him. The Club shall be responsible to the jockey for his minimum fee under these Rules. All Nominations and Acceptances must be addressed to the Secretary, F. D. Yonge.
