EASTER MEETING. The Metropolitan Trotting Club’s Easter meeting was opened on Saturday. There was fine weather, and a large attendance. The totalisator investments amounted to £30,845 10s.. as compared with £32,069 for Easter Saturday last year. The results were: — INTRODUCTORY HANDICAP (harness) of 150sovs, one mile and a-half. —General Wilkes, 6sec, 1; 2 Agathos, Bsec, 2: 5 Specification, Junr.. Gsec, 3. All started. Won by half a length. Time, 3min 28 l-ssec. FENDALTON HANDICAP (saddle) of 150-sovs, two miles. —13 Dubose, lOsec, 1; 9 Arcadian. lOsec. 2; 1 Ivory Bells, 17sec, 3. Macwood was scratched. Won by eight lengths. Time, 4min 56 3-ssec.

EASTER HANDICAP (harness) of 350sovs, two miles.—2 Rena Pointer. 7 sec, 1; 5 Evelyn, ssec, 2; 1 Tommy C., ssec, 3. Scratched: Persuader, Frandocia, St. Kevin. Hal Zolock. Won by a length and a-half. Time, lmin 34 4-ssec.

AUTUMN HANDICAP (harness) of laOsovs, two miles. —2 Red Heather. 12 sec, 1: 3 Lord Roanchild, lOsec, 2; 1 Muricata, scratch, 3. Mystic and Auckland Girl were scratched. Won by six lengths. Time. 4min 16 2-ssec. INTERNATIONAL HANDICAP (harness) of 250sovs, one mile and a-quar-ter.—s Sherwood, Ssec, 1; 1 Don Caesar, 2sec, 2; 10 Persuader, Ssec, 3. Tommy C. was scratched.
